CHANGES THE DIRECTION OF THE DELUXE SM-110 2-WAY DISPLAY
You have received our newly upgraded SM-110 with a two-way display. When you power the unit on, it will display in one direction. Push the power button a second time and it will rotate the display the other direction. This was designed so that either you or a doctor/caregiver can read the unit without having to turn your hand around.
SANTAMEDICAL SM-110 OXIMETER SOLUTIONS
UNIT WILL NOT COME ON
Please check the placement of the batteries in the battery compartment. Even though the springs are on one side, the batteries must be facing the proper direction. Please use the picture of the battery placement inside the battery compartment.
ERROR 3 and ERROR 7 are low power codes = change the battery. Contact us if changing batteries did not remove error code.
All other error codes are sensor problem codes, please contact us.
This is not an error code.
It is the software version that sometimes shows up on the display at start up.

SM-165 SERIES IS NOT POWERING ON
We are sorry to hear your SM-165 is not working. If you have already tried different batteries, the issue could be the following. Please note, the manufacturer installed the springs opposite of the "normal" springs on the negative side of the unit. Both the positive and negative sides of the battery compartment have springs. On your device, check the diagram in the bottom of the battery compartment to ensure the batteries are installed correctly. If the unit is still not working properly, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we can offer a free replacement or a refund.
OXIMETERS FOR ALL AGES
We are very sorry about the confusion. This product can be used by all ages. We are currently working with our manufacturer in order to get this changed on the packaging and user manual to prevent confusion in the future.
OXIMETER PROVIDING DIFFERENT READINGS
We are really sorry to hear that you are having problems with oximeter readings. Please follow these instructions for accurate readings:
- If there is something on the finger, such as nail polish or anything else, it may give different readings from a different finger. Wash your hands for better accuracy.
- Cold Fingers - Warm up your hands by rubbing them together before testing
- Too Much Movement - Sit still in a chair for 30 seconds before testing
- Wait for the reading to settle, that should be the reading
As a note, readings do change based on the body internal functions from minute to minute or by walking, eating or other activity. It will be the same thing with other oximeters also.

OXIMETER NOT WORKING
We are very sorry about the problem that you have encountered.
There is a small defect with the batteries. This is likely the issue that is occurring.
Please remove the batteries and place them according to the diagram on the inside of the battery slots. Instead of how you normally would with both negative (flat) sides against the springs, one of them should have the positive side against the spring. The battery slots on these units were manufactured somewhat backward. It is an issue we are working on correcting.
If it still does not work, we are happy to replace the device at no charge if it fits into the one year warranty. Please contact our support team at firstname.lastname@example.org and provide us with your order number and an explanation of the problem.
SM-165 SCRATCHED SCREEN
Don’t worry your oximeter is certainly not used. We do not sell used products. There is a small piece of film over the screen that is difficult to notice because it was cut to the exact size of the screen. Just carefully pick at any corner of the screen and it should peel right off and reveal a brand new screen under the protective film.
ELECTRODES NOT STICKY
We are sorry to hear you are having problems with your pads. You can make a solution of water and a few drops of dish soap and clean the pads using your fingertips. Do not immerse the pads, let them air dry. This will help remove any excess oil or dead skin that builds up on the pads and retain the stickiness. PM-470, PM-510, PM-120, PM-180 MODES
We understand the manual does not give very clear directions. We are working on changing this for future models.
- When the Tens Unit powers on, it starts with the 1st mode. 1st Mode is the Topmost Picture, it will be blinking.
- Pressing mode ("M") one time, the 2nd mode will start and 2nd picture from the top will be blinking.
- Pressing "M", it will keep rotating through other modes.
TENS UNIT/PULSE MASSAGER STIMULATOR NOT WORKING
Please follow these instructions:
- Make sure both tens wires are connected to the machine.
- If tens pads have been used a couple of times, then try the machine with a new set of pads.
- If the device is running and it is NOT in pause mode, the device may be in pause mode, press the Play button again.
